4th Extractables and Leachables conference to take place in USA in Bethesda, MD on May 12-14, 2015.

The three day event will feature a pre-conference workshop, poster sessions and a two day speaker program covering case studies on E&L in combination and topical product development, large volume parenteral products, migration modelling and assessment methodologies for E&L strategies.

Lars has a vast amount of experience as an analytical chemist and comments that “a substantial amount of his tasks are associated with extractable and leachable testing of new products in early development and is looking forward to sharing his finding with the E&L USA audience.
This presentation is complemented by Dr Wayland Rushing of ABC Laboratories discussing E&Ls in early phase development, a topic that the advisory board deemed very important to cover, and one that should spark a level of debate around designing phase appropriate E&L programs. Smithers Rapra’s own E&L expert; Dr. Andrew Feilden, will also contribute to this session with a comparative presentation of methodologies for extractables assessment.
Dr. Feilden is also our esteemed workshop leader who will cover an introduction to extractables and leachables, material selection, risk based analysis and extractable and leachable testing on the pre-conference day.
