Q: As consumers continually push for more cost-effective and faster solutions, what do you think is the biggest concern regarding the digitization of medicine?

Data privacy and who owns the data.

Q: What are some of the biggest opportunities gaining attention within the pharmaceutical industry? How has your company chosen to react/adapt to stay on trend?

Addressing patients with unmet medical needs.  With our ZipDose® platform made possible through 3DP manufacturing, we are creating unique fast disintegrating tablets for patients with swallowing disorders.

Q: What industry topics are getting the most attention at this time? How are these factors influencing the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing?

Continuous manufacturing and agile manufacturing.  Companies are looking at new ways to produce pharmaceuticals with streamlined processes and the ability to rapidly adapt to changing needs.

Q: What advice would you give someone that is just breaking into the digital medicine market?

Talk to patients and learn their needs and concerns, then develop products to meet/address these needs/concerns.  Patients will be taking greater control of their health and health information.
