Question: When and where was E&L China be held?

Answer: E&L China 2018 was held at the Mercure Beijing Downtown in Beijing, China on 11-12 September 2018. More information about the 2019 dates and locations will be released in due course.


Question: How do I submit an abstract for the chance to present?

Answer: The call for papers has not yet opened for the 2019 conference. Please join the mailing list here to ensure you're kept up to date with when we are accepting abstracts.


Question: How do I register to attend E&L China?

Answer: Registration is not yet open for the 2019 conference. Please join the mailing list here to ensure you're kept up to date with when registration is available.

Question: What is included with my ticket?

Answer: Your ticket will provide you with access to all training sessions, presentations and networking sessions across the two-day conference. Lunch and refreshments (where indicated on the programme) and a free place to the evening network social event are also included. You will also receive access to the presentations after the event.


Question: Is my travel and accommodation included with my ticket?

Answer: No. All delegates, speakers, sponsors and guests are required to organise their own travel and accommodation arrangements. 


Question: What language will the presentations by presented in?

Answer: The presentations will be presented in either English or Mandarin. A translator will be provided for both English to Mandarin translations and Mandarin to English translations.


Question: Will I receive the presentations post-event?

Answer: Yes. Within five working days of the event, you will receive access to all available conference presentations. Please note, these will be in the language they were presented in at the conference. Any translated versions will then be made available within one month of the conference.


Question: What is the dress code?

Answer: Business-Casual


Question: I need a visa, how do I obtain one of this event?

Answer: Before we are able to issue a visa letter, you must have booked AND paid for your conference ticket. Once you have booked and paid, please contact Sharleen Lyseight at slyseight@smithers.com to request a visa letter. Please sure you leave enough time to receive the letter from us and apply for and receive your visa in time for the conference. Smithers Rapra cannot provide any further assistance with the visa application process.
